For example, when it comes to our used rear-ends, our mechanics remove the covers and inspect the differentials. The gears are checked for correct backlash, damage and pattern. We check that the spider pinion shaft is tight in the case, and the spider gears are tight and not worn. Axle bearing surfaces are checked and replaced as needed. 

Our used differentials have a six
month guarantee. 

They are removed carefully making sure to salvage the emergency brake cables, brake lines, etc. This is, of course, a big time saver for the installer. Coutu's used differentials are not just a 'cut out', but a ready to install product.
